On the solitary road, we stand and observe, make choices, move forward and look into the distance to experience. We pick different branches and leaves in life. These tiny and fragmented things all become the nourishment for artists’ creations and are transformed into language, lines, colors and materials. Wang Jinbo’s tranquil paintings shimmer with a soft glow. Bei Lin Nan fills the darkness with an imaginary dense forest. He Wenjun’s wonderful scenes explore consciousness and reality and illusion. Wu Shi’s sand and stone materials focus on personal experiences and moments. Shek continues to look for patterns with graffiti symbols on the canvas. These emotions and thoughts are like layers of forests. In this joint exhibition, viewers are invited to explore and discover in it.
