Tang Yin (1470-1523), a renowned painter in the Ming Dynasty. His courtesy name is Bohu and another name is Ziwei. As he ranked first in the provincial examination, he was called Tang Jieyuan. After converting to Buddhism, his literary name is Liuru. His hometown is located at the northern end of Wuchu Lane in Suzhou (at the east end of Gaojia Bridge in Xizhongshi).
