Passing through a row of maple trees, one can see an exquisite and small ancient courtyard, with a four-hundred-year-old ancient maple tree standing tall and beautiful. This is the temporary palace where Emperor Qianlong stayed during his southern tour. The palace is a two-story building. More than fifty years ago, there was no beach in front of the pavilion. Outside the pavilion, waves crashed against the shore, with surging waves, hence the name Guanlan Pavilion. The Guanlan Pavilion has large transparent windows on the east, south, and west sides on both the upper and lower floors. From the long corridor on the upper floor, one can enjoy the river view with an open view. Close up, one can see the lush flowers and trees, and from a distance, one can see the surging river tides, drifting white clouds, and the orderly mountains. It is open all year round from 11:00-13:30 and 17:00-21:00. Please consult the scenic area for specific opening hours.
