Moon Bay Wetland Park is located in the north of Chengtou Village, Chengtou Town, Shanting District, Zaozhuang City. It spans 5.7 kilometers from north to south and 19.6 kilometers from east to west, with a total area of 5 square kilometers. The water area is 2.42 square kilometers. In 2009, it was approved to be built into a provincial wetland park. In 2011, it was rated as a national AAA-level wetland park.
In 2014, it was rated as a national AAAA-level wetland park. The natural ecology such as ‘City River Waterfall, Lotus Fragrance Mirror Moon, Winding Flower Path, Ancient Secluded Karst Cave, Sea Trees Welcoming Spring, Reed Marsh Snowfall, Loving Birds Returning to the Island, Mandarin Duck Island, and Ten Miles of Windy Lotus’ in the scenic area together form a beautiful wetland landscape and become a good place for leisure, sightseeing, vacation and recuperation. Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:30 to 17:30. Preferential policies: For the elderly: Free admission for those aged 65 and above with senior citizen card or ID card. For children: Free admission for those under 1.2 meters in height. For military personnel: Free admission for active-duty military personnel with officer ID card.
