The Xishuanghu Lake Scenic Area is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. It is located in the west of Donghai County. It is 3.2 kilometers long from east to west and 2.65 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of about 8.1 square kilometers. The entire scenic area is divided into two major regions, namely the ecological sightseeing park area and the sports and leisure area. The ecological sightseeing park has two major items, namely the wetland park and the botanical park.
The sports and leisure area has two major items, the water sports area and the fitness and leisure area. Xishuanghu Lake is structurally divided into four functional areas: the lake east living area, the east embankment landscape belt, the lake middle sports and leisure area, and the lake west wetland protection area.
