Xihai Art Museum is a non-profit art institution located on the south bank of Tangdao Bay in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao. Situated within the international integrated art community of Xihai Art Bay, it serves as a core institution in the community’s art ecosystem. Designed by the renowned French architect Jean Nouvel, the museum is committed to showcasing a variety of art forms, including classics and contemporaries, fashion and design, music, and performance, through cross-cultural and cross-media artistic innovation.
Opening Hours: The museum is open from 09:30 to 17:00 Tuesday through Sunday throughout the year; it is closed all day on Mondays. On New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day, the museum is open from 09:30 to 17:00.
Preferential Policies: For seniors, those aged 80 and above (excluding 80) can enter for free with their original identification documents; those aged 60 to 80 (including 80) can purchase preferential tickets. For children, those under 1.2 meters (excluding 1.2m) can enter for free with at least one accompanying adult; those above 1.2 meters (including 1.2m) can purchase preferential tickets. Active military personnel can enter for free with their original identification documents; veterans can purchase preferential tickets with valid identification. Disabled individuals can enter for free with their original identification documents. University students can purchase preferential tickets with their student identification.
