Established in May 1973, Lianyungang City Museum is a comprehensive local museum housing over 10,000 pieces of cultural relics. The new museum, completed in July 2006, was built with an investment of over 60 million yuan, covering an area of 45 acres and having a construction area of 13,600 square meters. The museum showcases the long and splendid historical culture of the Lianyungang area, from the Paleolithic Age to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Today, the museum hosts more than 20 temporary exhibitions each year, eliciting a strong response from all sectors of society.
Opening hours: All year round, Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:30; closed all day on Mondays; open on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day from 09:00 to 17:30; closed all day on Chinese New Year’s Eve.
Service facilities: Luggage storage is available for free; large items can be stored for free; free Chinese-speaking tour guide service is available from Tuesday to Sunday at 9:30 AM, lasting approximately 50 minutes.

Intoxication, improper attire, and individuals with no or limited behavioral capacity without guardians are not allowed to enter the museum; 3. Personal items can be stored for free, but cash and valuables should be kept by visitors themselves; 4. Please maintain a certain distance from exhibits, do not touch exhibits, and refrain from filming or using flash when taking photos in the exhibition hall; 5. Visitors carrying pets, flammable and explosive dangerous goods, controlled weapons, and other legally prohibited dangerous items are not allowed to enter the museum; 6. Please consciously care for public facilities, do not climb or lie down, and do not use roller skates or similar wheeled shoes in the museum; 7. Please consciously maintain environmental hygiene, do not litter, and refrain from smoking, spitting, or making loud noises inside the museum; 8. Please consciously cooperate with security checks, follow the visiting order, and accept the guidance and command of museum staff on site; 9.
