Peacock Gully Scenic Area is located at the southern foot of Yuntai Mountain in Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, and is an important part of the Hua Guo Mountain Scenic Area. Within the scenic area, the Tangli Gully and Laoyao Gully converge like a peacock spreading its tail, hence the name Peacock Lake. Surrounding the lake is a rare, pristine forest untouched by human activity. In spring, flowers are everywhere, and in autumn, the mountains are laden with fruits.
