The Xuzhou Olympic Sports Center is designed by the China Southwest Architectural Design and Research Institute, which represents the international level of stadium design. Taking ‘jade and silk’ that reflects the characteristics of Han culture as the source of inspiration, it fully embodies the design theme of ‘turning hostility into friendship’. It not only promotes the Olympic spirit but also vividly reproduces the glorious process of Xuzhou’s transformation from a place of military strategists’ contention in the past to a city of merchants gathering today.
