The Straw thatched Cottage Paradise, which will open on June 1st, takes Cao Wenxuan’s classic work “Straw thatched Cottage” as the entry point and realistically restores the scenery of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River in the 1960s and 1970s, reproducing the scenes in the book “Straw thatched Cottage”. Yancheng has another great place for parent-child outings! The Straw thatched Cottage is a paradise, but it is far more than just a simple paradise. The entire park is divided into four themes: on the way to school, research and education, quality expansion, and reminiscing about the past… Entering the park, you can not only see the scenes of the farming period composed of fields, cattle, plows, and people, but also huge theme mazes formed by stacks of hay. The stage, farm tools, and stacks of hay restore the scenes in the story, which can’t help but remind people of the busy scenes during the harvest season back then.

The Summer Paradise is based on Mr. Cao Wenxuan’s picture book “Summer” and tells the story of animals in the desert, teaching children to feel love and give love. Here are elephant slides, father and son sculptures, various animal collections, fairy tale tree houses, etc… A place full of childlike fun. It is said that it is created by the same sculpture team as Disney. Perhaps the most eye-catching thing in the Summer Paradise is this super large tree house. Mengmeng Bird Paradise consists of Mengmeng Bird Paradise, Rabbit Manor, and Rose Garden.The park is a vivid recreation of Mr. Cao Wenxuan’s “Mengmeng Bird Series,” featuring scenes like beaches, creative seesaws, and intellectual battles between giant cats and dogs. It offers an immersive interactive experience for children with a specially designed game area called ‘Wuque Town Climbing Tower.’ This area combines thematic elements with play functions, located near the Wild Duck Lake ecological circle. Children can compete to reach the top first, adding an element of fun to their playtime. When they tire, they can rest under the romantic roses, next to the adorable rabbit hutch where lifelike rabbits and carrots bring joy. Crawling through the rabbit hutch allows children to experience the integrity and kindness of ‘Wawa,’ encouraging them to be brave, forward-looking, and helpful individuals.

In another part of the park, there’s a Giant Fruit Paradise filled with incredibly lifelike grapes, dragon fruits, cantaloupes, watermelons, and more. Houses made of strawberries, living in sweet melons, and navigating through a tempting watermelon offer endless surprises. The Chrysanthemum Doll Park recreates the life of Chrysanthemum Grandma and her touching story with the dolls. It features multiple chrysanthemums and buds forming a 5-meter-tall chrysanthemum sculpture. When the theme song plays, the flower head rotates with the music, and the 56 chrysanthemum dolls on the square wave their chrysanthemums in rhythm, making it super interesting.

Lastly, the Giant Insect Park showcases insects with sculptures of ants, praying mantises, butterflies, ladybugs, and more, all vivid and lifelike.The Grass House Park, a delightful sanctuary for children, opens its doors on June 1st. This summer, bring your children to explore the wonders of the insect world and become insect doctors. These adorable insects invite children to play, fostering an environment where they can enjoy themselves while learning to respect and love nature. By befriending insect animals and protecting our environment, children can increase their interest in learning about nature, creating a truly win-win situation.
