In early summer, an invitation was sent out to start the Lohas journey. The morning sun shines through the gaps in the leaves and sprinkles on the winding road leading to Fengxian. The anticipation for the unknown challenge has long been uncontrollable in my heart.

At the moment of arriving at the ‘Lohas Outdoor Base Camp’ located in Fengxian District, what comes into view is a lush greenery and sparkling water surface, as if it is a cool stage specially prepared for us by nature.

In this sweltering summer, a summer feast with the theme of ‘water canoeing team building’ was passionately staged here. The highlight of the activity is naturally the ‘water canoeing team building’. Under the guidance of professional coaches, we put on life jackets, pick up paddles, and jump on board, becoming explorers on this vast water area.

At first, facing the slightly surging water surface, many people seemed a bit flustered. But soon, with mutual encouragement and cooperation, we learned how to paddle in coordination and how to control the direction. The canoe is like an arrow leaving the string, drawing beautiful arcs on the water surface. That sense of accomplishment and joy is indescribable by any words.

Water canoeing, challenges and fun coexist. Drifting team building, brave the rapids.Then, we moved to the drifting area. The water flow here is more turbulent, but also more exciting. Sitting in a specially made drifting boat, we seem to turn into brave explorers. As the water flows up and down, sometimes we rush down, splashing layers of water; sometimes we move forward smoothly and enjoy the scenery along the way. Every scream and laughter is the best interpretation of courage and team spirit.

Water gun battle, a cool summer. In the afternoon, a unique ‘water gun battle’ pushed the joy to a climax. Everyone held various water guns and launched a fierce ‘battle’ in the water park. Water splashed everywhere, and there was continuous laughter. At this moment, we seemed to return to the carefree childhood. All troubles were washed away by this cool water wave.

Bead mosaic battle, collision of wisdom and strategy. In addition to the water carnival, we also experienced an indoor project – ‘bead mosaic battle’. This is a game that tests teamwork and strategic planning. By splicing beans of different shapes, we complete the designated patterns or build the most creative works. In the intense and interesting competition, we learned to listen, communicate, and collaborate. The power of the team is vividly demonstrated at this moment.

Desert gold rush, adventure of thinking. As night falls, we move to the indoor and start the simulated exploration of ‘desert gold rush’. This is a tabletop game that combines role-playing with strategic planning, allowing us to experience the thrill of treasure hunting and the contest of wits in a virtual desert environment.

Through the joint efforts of our team, we not only found the ‘treasure’, but also gained valuable experiences and lessons. We experienced an indoor roller coaster after dinner, which, despite not being as thrilling as a real one, provided us with a sense of speed and passion that made us scream continuously, releasing the fatigue and stress of the day.

Karaoke night under the stars was the final event of our team building. We ended this gathering on a high note, singing happily together. On a night with bright stars, we sat, expressing our love for life and our longing for the future through songs. At that moment, all our fatigue turned into a beautiful melody, echoing in the night sky.

This summer team building trip to ‘Lehuo Outdoor Base Fengxian Store’ was an unforgettable experience. It allowed me to experience the passion and challenge of water kayaking, and also to deeply feel the power of the team and the warmth of friendship. In the days to come, this beautiful memory will shine like bright stars, illuminating our way forward.
