**Experience:**

**Check-in and Warm Welcome:**
This hotel had its grand opening the day before my check-in. On the day of my stay, there was a corporate event taking place, and the manager, Mao Mao, warmly welcomed us.

**Noise Concerns and Upgrade:**
The front desk and restaurant are connected, which can be a bit noisy, but the manager apologized for this inconvenience. Due to a group of team-building guests checking in on the same day, the manager was concerned about the noise and kindly upgraded us to a loft starlight suite.

**Surprise View and Fireworks:**
Although it was a cloudy day and we couldn’t see the stars, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the room’s terrace offered a view of the Disney fireworks display at around eight o’clock. Absolutely brilliant!

**Excitement and Late-Night Snacks:**
The hotel was buzzing with the excitement of the team-building event reaching its climax, with fireworks being set off in the hotel’s backyard. The children were thrilled, as fireworks are banned in the city. At this moment, the waiter, Fei Fei, knocked on our door to serve us late-night snacks, which included local Pudong meatballs and dates. Being a meat lover, I found the meatballs particularly delicious. Fei Fei also helped us schedule breakfast for the next day.

**Disappointment and Hotel Entertainment:**
The next day, upon receiving the news of Disney’s temporary closure, I felt quite disheartened. We could only wander around the hotel with the children. Fortunately, the hotel offered slides, sandpits, and swings to keep the children entertained.
