The Botanical Garden, one of the iconic structures of Qingdao Expo Garden, is primarily built around plants. Located on the northeast side of the scenic area, it is a distinctive venue that integrates science popularization, scientific research, and exhibition display. It is divided into four major exhibition areas: Jellyfish World, Bamboo Poetry, Desert Style, and Spring Mountain Seclusion. In Jellyfish World, nearly 30 species of marine creatures, including Moon Jellyfish, Colored Jellyfish, Atlantic Sand Stings Jellyfish, and Blackfin Sharks, are displayed.
The plant exhibition area showcases over 500 species and more than 10,000 tropical and temperate plants, including a variety of ‘new, strange, and special’ plants. The garden features elegant landscape elements scattered throughout, providing visitors with an elegant place for plant science popularization, observation, communication, and leisure.
