Individuals who excel in the realm of art are those who are dedicated to the pursuit of their artistic interests, continually paying the price in terms of creative effort. Art is a product of emotion, a quest for truth, goodness, and beauty. Ceramic art seeks unity amidst change and variation within unity, thereby achieving a sense of beauty.
My interest in ceramics lies in the creation of various glaze colors on the ceramic body, using different origins and proportions of feldspar, clay, quartz, calcium, zinc, talc, barium, and other oxides to formulate various glazes. Additionally, by incorporating different ratios of copper, iron, cobalt, chromium, and manganese, which are coloring metal oxides, a variety of colored glazes can be created. These glazes can be combined and adjusted to change their hues and textures, leading to the creation of many interesting glaze colors. The overlapping application of glazes can also transform into tasteful glaze colors, adding unique textural and tonal qualities.
Ceramics utilize various glaze colors, employing oxidation firing and reduction firing to showcase the highest level of artistic expression. The glaze colors are used to express creativity, giving the works a distinctive and variable texture. Ceramic art possesses durability and aesthetic appeal, making it worthy of collective appreciation, savoring, and collection. The exhibition is open from November 16th to November 29th; the performance times and duration are subject to the venue’s schedule.
