The owner of Zhilelou, Ho Yiu-kwong, once lamented that many ancient Chinese calligraphy and paintings were lost due to natural disasters, wars, wind and rain damage, insect erosion and other reasons. The survival of these calligraphy and painting works is definitely attributed to the ingenious protection of traditional mounting. This time, the Hong Kong Museum of Art cooperates with the Antiquities and Monuments Office. Taking the collections of Zhilelou as a research case, an exhibition is held. Chinese calligraphy and painting are analyzed and disassembled from an artistic and scientific perspective to gain an in-depth understanding of the restoration and protection work behind the scenes of the museum.

Opening hours: From March 22 to February 12. Open from Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
