In celebration of the third anniversary of the Sci-Tech Experience Hall in the Science Park, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (STPC) has gathered six renowned international and local artists to present an engaging new exhibition that showcases the fascinating intersection between the growth of startups, the diversity of cutting-edge technology, and the ecosystem of nature. Under the STPC’s innovation nurturing program, ‘Reunite Limited’ and ‘Yu Xia Yu Xia Limited Company’ have specially created a series of art-tech works themed ‘Greenhouse Promise’ for the Sci-Tech Experience Hall, prompting visitors to reflect on the relationship between technology and sustainable development. Among them, internationally renowned artist François Quévillon has made his global debut at the Sci-Tech Experience Hall, displaying his aerial photography creation ‘Refuges’, inspired by migratory birds, on the curved wall. The 10 exhibition areas and over 300 technological components of the Sci-Tech Experience Hall will offer an enhanced interactive experience, showcasing the outstanding scientific research and achievements of the Science Park and its companies, while emphasizing the importance of balancing innovation development with environmental management. STPC is actively leading the industry in addressing climate issues, promoting green technology, and committing to achieving net-zero emissions by 2045 as proposed by the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). Since its completion in May 2021, the Sci-Tech Experience Hall has attracted more than 24,000 visitors, becoming an important platform for promoting science and technology. STPC hopes that through the new exhibition, visitors will be inspired to take practical actions to create a sustainable future. Opening hours are from 06/05 to 12/31, with performance times and durations subject to the venue.
