Stepping into November, New Art East Auction is delighted to present a sensory-stimulating solo exhibition titled ‘Intimate Exposure: The Art of Nobuyoshi Araki’, showcasing the provocative and influential select works of the renowned Japanese post-war photography master Nobuyoshi Araki. The exhibition will be held on the 7th floor of H Queen’s from November 2nd to December 21st, offering visitors an opportunity to delve into the diverse artistic talents of Nobuyoshi Araki, featuring over 60 impactful Polaroid photographs, displaying a variety of first-time亮相联成木 furniture, and other exclusive limited edition design pieces.



This exhibition invites visitors to explore the intimate and controversial themes that run through Nobuyoshi Araki’s works. The classic Polaroid photographs are famous for their unconventional, raw, and naked emotional expressions, leading visitors to experience his unique perspective on love and emotion. In addition to these iconic photographic works, the exhibition will also display custom wooden furniture sets created by Nobuyoshi Araki in collaboration with ARTOX GROUP, reflecting his pursuit of excellence in craftsmanship and design.



One of the highlights of the exhibition is the live Shibari performance, a traditional Japanese knot art, performed by skilled local Hong Kong artists. It aims to create an immersive experience for visitors, deepening their connection between the resilience and sensitivity in Nobuyoshi Araki’s intricate artistic works within the tradition of Japanese aesthetics. Through thought-provoking and visually stunning explorations, it forms an interwoven pulse between photography, design, and performance art.
