The highly regarded Canadian violinist James Ehnes, who was named Artist of the Year by Gramophone magazine in 2021. After 2018, he returns to the HKGNA Music Festival 2024 again. Together with the famous pianist Orion Weiss, they jointly kick off the new ‘Master Series’ and the music festival of HKGNA. The repertoire will include three Beethoven violin sonatas: the energetic First Sonata, the beloved Fifth Sonata ‘Spring’, and the highly technically demanding Ninth Sonata ‘Kreutzer’. The two masters presenting Beethoven’s classic works will surely make the audience highly anticipate and bring a charming prelude to the HKGNA Music Festival 2024! Opening time: Tuesday, November 19.
