Xia Long Tan Ecological Protection Area is a large natural ecological reserve within the wetland park. It boasts a variety of aquatic and terrestrial vegetation, as well as a multitude of wild animals. It is particularly known as a paradise for various species of birds. To allow visitors to enjoy the spectacle of flocking birds, a bird-watching platform has been set up within the protection area. The opening hours are subject to the actual conditions on the day.
