Yuehua Tianjie, originally a Daoist village, is home to 28 households, all descendants of Daoist priests and their families. The street is approximately one kilometer long, small yet filled with ancient charm. Alongside the street, you will find Taoist temples, academies, shops, and residences, all adjacent to each other.

Tianjie is no different from ordinary marketplaces, with shops, stores, restaurants, and inns available along the street. The street varies in width and narrowness, and the Hui-style houses with white walls and black tiles are scattered in a disorderly yet harmonious manner.

What sets Yuehua Tianjie apart is the unique experience of sitting by the cliffs, sipping tea, and enjoying the mountain views. The Hui-style houses with their green tiles and white walls create a comfortable, tranquil, and peaceful atmosphere amidst the red cliffs and Dan mountains. This street is filled with a sense of warmth and familiarity, making it a true ‘paradise on earth’.
