The Yuping Cableway is located in the heart of Huangshan’s scenic area, starting from Ciguang Pavilion and ending at Putuan Pine, spanning across the Wenquan and Yuping scenic areas. Along the way, there are attractions such as Shengquan Peak and Zhusha Peak, with Tiandu and Lianhua, the two main peaks, standing nearby, and the Welcoming Pine Tree just a stone’s throw away.
The Yuping Cableway is 2176 meters long with a vertical drop of 752 meters, and it is an automatic circulation gondola-type passenger cableway with safe and reliable performance. The cableway operates at a speed of 6 meters per second, with a single-direction capacity of 1000 people per hour. Equipped with 40 six-person cabins, the ride is comfortable and offers a great view of the scenery. The surrounding area of the cableway features the most representative majestic, strange, dangerous, and fantastic scenery of Huangshan. Opening times are as follows: from March 2nd to November 30th, open from 07:00 to 17:10 on weekdays; from March 2nd to November 30th, open from 06:30 to 17:40 on weekends and holidays; from December 1st to December 31st, open from 07:30 to 16:40; from January 1st to March 1st, open from 08:00 to 16:40. During the ‘Spring Festival’ Golden Week and major cultural tourism marketing events, the scenic area’s opening, transportation transfer, and cableway operating times will be announced separately, and are subject to the official platform’s ticket reservation times for Huangshan Tourism.
