Tangkou Town, at the southern foot of Huangshan Scenic Area, is the southern gate of the scenic area. Tourists who come to visit Huangshan Scenic Area enter the scenic area from here. The hot spring in Huangshan Scenic Area was called Tangquan in ancient times. The town is named after this. The hot spring water of Huangshan is injected into Tangquan Stream and flows into Xiaoyao Stream. Xiaoyao Stream flows through Tangkou Town. Various Huizhou-style buildings in the town are built near the mountains and by the water. The horse-head walls set off the surrounding green mountains.
