The Delta INST is pleased to announce the launch of its new space, The Delta LOUNGE, on October 19, 2024, operating in conjunction with the GODOWN space to explore the possibilities of alternative and composite spaces as artistic venues. As the first exhibition following the dual-space activation, The Delta INST is honored to invite Scottish artist Andrew Gilbert to present his latest dual solo exhibitions: ‘The Sun will never set on the Leek Phone Empire’ and ‘Emperor Andrew’s Instant Coffee Plantation…On Tour’. The GODOWN space will showcase the artist’s specially created total space works for the occasion, while the LOUNGE space will focus on the artist’s representative paintings, installations, and related documentation. This also marks the artist’s first solo exhibition in China. The exhibition is open from October 19 to December 30, with specific business hours subject to the day’s opening status.
