Fengzejiang Corridor Bridge was completed in May 2003. With a classical arch bridge design, it features a corridor and pavilions that are both simple and elegant in structure. The bridge spans across the broad section of Fengzejiang River, where the still water flows deep, and the clear green waves reflect the tranquility of the river, the varying widths of the banks, and the number of houses, adding a touch of light ink and even green. Fengzejiang Corridor Bridge is one of the larger bridges on the ring river of Shaoxing and also one of the larger corridor bridges in Zhejiang Province. The bridge is 180 meters long and 33 meters wide, with a greenery-isolated four-lane road on the bridge deck and 4.5-meter-wide classical wooden corridor pathways on both sides of the bridge for pedestrians. Four scenic pavilions are built on the bridge, from which you can overlook the beautiful water town scenery of Shaoxing. The most beautiful time to appreciate the corridor bridge is during its night view; when the lights are all on, the bridge’s reflection in the water shimmers, creating a spectacular scene, thus the ‘Moonlit Corridor Bridge’ is known as one of the scenic spots along the river. The bridge is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
