Xianren Gorge Rafting is located in Xianren Gorge Village, Zhuxi Town, featuring a ‘V’ shaped rafting area that spans 3.1 kilometers in length. Donning the rafting gear, one can navigate through the broad river channels, experiencing the thrills and spills as they flow eastward, with the picturesque landscapes on both banks unfolding before their eyes.
Within the gorge, the water flow varies from rapid to gentle, filled with perilous excitement and a multitude of river changes – from turbulent rapids to tranquil lakes and deep pools, offering a mix of thrills, excitement, and mystery. Over the 2.2-kilometer gorge, there are a total of 10 drop points with a natural total drop of approximately 50 meters.
The gorge is flanked by winding mountains, towering highlands, lush vegetation, and beautiful scenery, resembling the secluded retreats sought by ancients. Ancient vines drape over the ravines, and the rapids add to the excitement… It is the perfect place for those who yearn for seclusion. Several unique small waterfalls add to the spiritual essence of the gorge. Notably, during the rafting journey, one passes through a dreamy film cave, 300 meters long and 8 meters wide, which offers a cool and comfortable environment with a floating cinema, allowing visitors to watch movies while rafting.
Unforgettable rock formations such as the ‘Tortoise Peeking’ and ‘Hippopotamus Drinking Water’ are also highlights not to be missed. The opening times are as follows: from 07/01 to 08/31, closed on Mondays and Fridays; open from 13:00 to 15:00 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; and open from 12:00 to 15:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
