Anji Longchumo Grand Canyon Drifting is located in Dakeng Village, Hanggai Town, Anji County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Dakeng has a long history. According to legend, in the upper reaches of Tiaoxi River in ancient times, there was a monk who attained enlightenment and nirvana through meditation here. A large pit was left at the place where he rainbow-transformed. There are divine dragons lurking and tracing, protecting and guarding this place, so Dakeng got its name. The drifting route is about 2.8 kilometers long with a total drop of about 128 meters. There are 12 drops of more than 2 meters, and the largest drop is 6 meters. Along the whole route, there are 17 different checkpoints such as ‘Dragon Gets Water’, ‘Group of Dragons Playing in Water’, ‘Pterosaur Tapping Water’, ‘Divine Dragon Wagging Tail’, ‘Dragon Swims in Meandering Pond’, ‘Coiled Dragon Enters the Sea’, and ‘Dragon Rises in All Seas’. There are more than 10 thrilling river sections. The drifting journey takes about 80 minutes. It is one of the exciting drifts in East China. The entire drifting is in the Dakeng Grand Canyon, retaining the original landform and original ecological vegetation of the canyon. You can not only experience the thrilling excitement of crossing mountains and pouring down thousands of feet, but also enjoy the natural beauty of crossing bamboo forests and cedar seas.
