Zhenshan Scenic Area, located 2 kilometers west of Sihui City, stands at an elevation of 648 meters. During the Tang Dynasty, Zhenshan was originally named Guangzheng Mountain, and it was renamed for the legend of ‘Wen’s chaste maiden ascending to immortality’ here. Besides its naturally endowed landscapes, Zhenshan’s fame in Lingnan is also closely tied to the legend of Wen’s chaste immortal.
With its lush greenery and tranquil valleys, the area seems like a fairyland when clouds and rosy light undulate. The valley offers a serene and relaxed atmosphere throughout the seasons, and walking on the gentle slopes and paths, one can’t help but feel the tranquility and relaxation from the mountains, rocks, plants, and grass.
Catering in the mountains mostly offers excellent local Lingnan cuisine, providing a comprehensive sensory experience of beautiful scenery and delicious food, making it particularly suitable for family outings on weekends. The area is open year-round from 08:30 to 17:00.
