Located in the villages of Qiancheng and Houcheng, Hengshan Township, Changxing County, at the northern foot of the main peak of Bianshan. Biyan, with an elevation of over 300 meters, is named for its layered and steep rocks that resemble mossy rust, hence the name Biyan. Starting from the half-mile pavilion on the north slope, one climbs Biyan along a stone path, passing through bamboo paths, by Yu Xie Tan and Qi Xing Tai, with steep peaks and grotesque rocks on both sides, where one can view the Xianglu Peak, Yingwu Stone, and Bai Jing Tai among other landscapes. Upon reaching Biyan, one can marvel at the ‘Three Wonders of Biyan’: Zhu Lian Shui, Waterfall Spring, and Longkou. On Biyan, there is Biyan Temple, overlooking the vast expanse of Taihu Lake, with surging waves extending to the horizon. Next to the rock, there are two waterfall springs. Opening hours and business status are subject to the day’s opening conditions.
