The Guangzhou Second Youth Palace covers an area of 16,530 square meters, with a total construction area reaching 46,008 square meters, located at No. 273 Huajiao Road, Tianhe District (Zhujiang New Town). The southern arc-shaped building features an open space on the first floor, housing the entrance hall and the performing arts center lobby, while the second to sixth floors are dedicated to the theater building and its affiliated rooms. The main building in the north is designed in sequence as a growth guidance and service center, offices, and exhibition halls, with the second to sixth floors designed for foreign language, computer, art, calligraphy, choir, musical instrument, and dance classrooms, and the seventh floor as the international exchange hall and musical instrument rehearsal hall. The Guangzhou Second Youth Palace adopts the internationally renowned design group’s ‘Exploration Palace’ concept, giving the entire building a sense of transparency and brightness from the inside out, with facades and roofs that can serve as screens for festival and event theme projections. The external image is composed of a six-story arc from south to north and a seven-story square, with an elliptical glass tower that spans seven stories and connects the two forms, making the entire building resemble the reclining letter ‘K’. Open only to students, no walk-in visitors are accepted.
