Located in Dengfeng Luhu Park, Baiyun Xianguan was constructed in the 17th year of the Jiaqing era of the Qing Dynasty (1812), covering an area of 5500 square meters, with the main building occupying 448 square meters and the water surface area being 3700 square meters.
The main building is situated on a high slope beside Luhu Road, facing Luhu Lake. The slope is enclosed by marble, featuring five granite stones, each with an area of one square meter, inscribed with ‘Baiyun Xianguan Zou Lu (Seal)’, characterized by their vigorous and ancient calligraphy.
On the stone pillars of the mountain gate, there is an engraved couplet: ‘For a thousand years, the ancestral hall is admired amidst the fragrance of incense; Surrounded by white clouds, immortals dwell on all sides.’
Passing through the skywell, one enters the main hall. The wooden plaque above the door reads ‘Universal Love Sun Yat-sen (Seal)’. There is a wooden couplet on the door pillars: ‘Since ancient times, white clouds have been abundant in Pujian; Through several changes, the sea has become mulberry fields.’
There is also a wooden couplet on the hall pillars: ‘After the initial clear weather of white clouds, secluded birds chase each other; Flowing water today, the moon of the past.’ The inscription is signed by Zhao Puchu, the Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
