Hongfa Temple is located in Wuan Village, Yingxi Township, Xinfeng Town, Raoping County, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province. It was built from 1997 to 2000. On November 24, 2001 (the tenth day of the tenth lunar month), the completion ceremony and the consecration ceremony of the holy statues of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas were held. The temple is located between large valleys. With clear springs flowing and beautiful scenery, it is fascinating. The temple building is in a typical national style, with magnificent shape, carved beams and painted pillars, and upturned eaves and corners. Entering the temple, on both sides of the Mahavira Hall are the Guanyin Bodhisattva Hall, the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Hall, the bell tower and the drum tower. The Buddha Shakyamuni is 3.2 meters high and weighs 10 tons. Amitabha Buddha and Bhaisajyaguru Buddha are each 3 meters high and weigh 8 tons. The two venerables are each about 2 meters high and weigh one and a half tons. Opening hours: Open all year round from 8:00 to 17:50.
