OCT Wetland Park is located in the OCT Harbor, Shenzhen. It is not a conventional park but rather a concept that lies between a nature reserve and a park. On one hand, it is dedicated to natural conservation and scientific research. On the other hand, it serves an educational function for the public. Therefore, it cannot be as unrestricted as a regular park, nor as strictly limited as the Mangrove Nature Reserve.
OCT Wetland Park is situated in the north area of the OCT Harbor project, integrating wetland experience, ecological protection, and scientific education. It is a precious ecological area left over from the land reclamation of Shenzhen Bay in the last century, covering an area of about 685,000 square meters, with extensive mangrove communities and over 100 species of rare birds, making it a coastal mangrove wetland located in the heart of a modern metropolis in China. Opening hours are Tuesday, Thursday to Sunday from 09:30 to 17:00 all year round; closed all day on Monday and Wednesday.
