Dongchu Island is located at the eastern end of the Shidao Management District in Rongcheng, Weihai, with a coastline of 10 kilometers. The village is surrounded by the sea on the east, south, and north sides, and connected to the mainland on the west, forming a long, narrow island. The beautiful natural environment, abundant seafood resources, rich fishing culture, numerous folk tales, distinctive Weihai sea grass houses, and long-standing local cultural characteristics make Dongchu Island one of the most beautiful fishing villages in China.
