The Sheniaoshan Wildlife Reserve is located in the northeast of Xixiakou Village, Chengshan Town, Rongcheng City, Weihai City, Shandong Province. It stands by the sea and has a steep mountain terrain.
It is said that Emperor Qin Shihuang once shot a big eagle with a bow here when he made an inspection tour to Chengshan. Hence the name Sheniaoshan. The total investment has exceeded 100 million yuan. The entire nature reserve covers an area of 3,800 mu. There are habitats for animals such as herbivore area, marine animal area, bird garden, raptor garden, leopard and wolf mountain, golden monkey hall, etc. There are more than 150 species of national first and second-class protected animals, with more than 1,500 individuals. Opening hours: Open all year round from 07:30 to 18:00; Open all year round from 07:30 to 16:30.
