Yantai Agricultural Expo Garden is a national AAA-level agricultural sightseeing tourist area established by Yantai Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It integrates the promotion of agricultural technology, science education, ecological tourism, and leisure entertainment. The garden is themed around ‘agricultural science and technology tourism’, showcasing the modern agricultural technology and its charm through fruits, melons, flowers, and vegetables.
The construction of the garden emphasizes nature, greenery, agriculture, technology, and the novelty and uniqueness of the attractions. Attractions include: Rare Fruit and Vegetable Garden, Desert Oasis Garden, Three-Dimensional Soilless Cultivation Garden, Hundred Flower Garden, High-End Flower Garden, World National Garden, Tropical Fruit Garden, and Sightseeing Orchard, totaling 16 green attractions. These attractions are connected by ecologically interesting paths, flower corridors, and green hedges. Additionally, the garden features a Science and Entertainment Park, Artificial Climate Chamber, Cloned Saplings Hall, and Fruit Storage Hall, which are interspersed among the green attractions. Visitors can breathe fresh air, enjoy exotic flowers and fruits, tour modern scientific research facilities, pick and taste pollution-free food, and purchase advanced seedlings, truly achieving the goals of returning to nature, cultivating sentiment, gaining knowledge, and maintaining health.
