The new Zhejiang Science and Technology Museum is located at the West Lake Cultural Plaza in the heart of Hangzhou City. On the same day (July 28, 2009), the new museum in Area A and the new Zhejiang Natural History Museum in Area B opened to the public and have been accessible year-round. The visiting hours are closed all day on Monday and Tuesday throughout the year; open from 09:00 to 16:30 from Wednesday to Sunday; and on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day, the museum is also open from 09:00 to 16:30.
