Chi Tan Ancient Town, with a long and storied history, is one of the ten most famous ancient towns in Jing County’s history.
During the era when water transportation was thriving, it served as a vital hub for the Qingyi River’s waterway, attracting a large population and a gathering of merchants, earning a reputation in the surrounding counties of Jing, Nan, and Xuan.
