The best season to visit Siming Mountain is typically in October, when the maple leaves on the mountain gradually turn red, creating a captivating scene. After snowfall in winter, the mountain is covered in white, and from March to April, when cherry blossoms bloom, the scenery is also quite picturesque. The entrance ticket to the scenic area includes five sub-attractions such as Shenxiu Valley, Yangtian Lake, and Shui Lian Dong, which are relatively dispersed, thus it is recommended to visit by private car. As the scenic area is located on the mountain, there is a winding road of nearly 2 hours, which is not easy to navigate, and is not recommended for novice drivers. Tourists coming from Ningbo and Xikou usually pass through Zhen Dong Bridge first and arrive at the east gate ticket office of the scenic area, where Shenxiu Valley and Siming Mountain Resort are located nearby. Turning right at the fork near Siming Mountain Resort leads to Yangtian Lake and the water curtain cave of Bogu Rock. The lake and mountain views at Yangtian Lake are soothing to the spirit. The entire Siming Mountain does not have any particularly striking natural landscapes, but one can quietly enjoy the lush vegetation and breathe in the fresh air of nature. It is not necessary to insist on visiting all the attractions; instead, relaxing and enjoying the leisurely atmosphere here is the ideal choice. If time permits, you can stay overnight. Siming Mountain Resort is a good resort, and there are also resorts near Yangtian Lake that offer accommodation and meals with better conditions than Siming Mountain Resort.
