Liangnong is a renowned historical and cultural town in Zhejiang Province. During the Anti-Japanese War period, it was the heart of the Four Ming Mountains revolutionary base. Historically, it was also an important stop on the Eastern Zhejiang Tang Poetry Road, where many poets such as Li Bai and Pi Rixiu stopped by. The town boasts historical sites like the Wugui Pavilion, Song Dynasty stone carvings, and the horseshoe-shaped street, as well as revolutionary sites including the Zhejiang Eastern Base Memorial Hall, the former headquarters of the New Fourth Army’s Zhejiang Eastern Column, and the Siming Mountains Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery. The natural and cultural elements complement each other perfectly.
