Moon Bay is located in Moon Bay Village, Cai Village Town, Jing County, on the west side of the South Anhui-Chuanzang Line. This place is far from the city, with simple folk customs and pleasant scenery. The gurgling mountain springs are mixed with the delicacy and elegance of Jiangnan. It is a natural scenery and is known as ‘Little Guilin in Anhui’. Entering the scenic area, what catches the eye are the layered peaks and the bamboo forests all over the mountains. The shoals of fish and shrimp in the river are playing heartily. In the deep mountains in the distance, from time to time, the sound of bamboo cutting by bamboo cutters and the chant of boatmen can be heard. Moon Bay has been selected as an outdoor shooting base by many film studios. Many classic film and television works such as ‘Laughter in Moon Bay’, ‘Trouble in Moon Bay’, ‘Red Memory’, and ‘Reconnaissance Across the Yangtze River’ have all shot outdoor scenes here.
