Located beside the Light Textile City in Keqiao District, Shaoxing, there is a historical ancient towpath within the ancient canal. The Ancient Tow Island is paved with slabs from the Ke Yan quarry, dividing the canal into two parts, with slightly different scenery and water colors inside and outside. The Ancient Towpath was the footpath used by ancient trackers to pull boats. It has been well-preserved for hundreds of years and is still accessible for visitors to stroll along. The site is open all year round, with full-day access.
