The Tianyu Mountain Observation Deck is located in the Tianyu scenic area of Qiandao Lake. Surrounded by mountains, it has a wide field of vision. The altitude is not too high. But once you reach the top, you can overlook most of the lake and mountain scenery as well as the magnificent Qiandao Lake Bridge. There is almost no obstruction in the westward direction. On a clear day, the setting sun slowly falls into the golden lake surface. It is a great place to watch the beautiful sunset of Qiandao Lake. Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:00 to 17:30. Preferential policies: Children: Half price for those with a height of 1.2 to 1.5 meters or minors under 18 years old. Elderly: Half price for those aged 60 to 69 years old; free for those aged 70 years old and above. Students: Half price for full-time undergraduate and below students. Journalists: Half price. Disabled people: Free. Blood donors: Free for Zhejiang blood donors who have won the National Honorary Certificate for Voluntary Blood Donation (with relevant certificates). Members of literary and art associations: Free for members of Hangzhou-level and above Artists Association, Calligraphers Association, and Photographers Association (with relevant certificates). People with courageous acts: Free admission policy with the ‘Courageous Act Honor Card’. Military personnel and entitled groups: Free for active-duty officers (police officers), civilian cadres, soldiers (conscripts, sergeants), retired military cadres, disabled soldiers, martyrs’ dependents in Zhejiang Province, dependents of soldiers who died on duty in Zhejiang Province and dependents of soldiers who died of illness in Zhejiang Province.
