Oulongxi Scenic Area, located in the southeast of the Dragon Mountain Forest Park, covers a total area of 645.34 hectares. Within the area, there are three major streams: Oulongxi, Youlongxi, and Wolongxi. Additionally, the area boasts historical and cultural sites such as Yuanzhao Ancient Temple, century-old trees, peculiar rocks, and stone carvings. Known for its majestic peaks, mysterious caves, tranquil valleys, strange rocks, lush woods, and spiritual waters, the park is rich in flora, with over 800 species from 120 families. Pine, cypress, maple, Chinese toon, and bamboo are the main tree species. Natural deciduous, shrub, grass, and vine plants are mixed throughout the forest. In the forest and on the slopes, azaleas, wisterias, roses, lespedeza, white kerria, and light bamboo are scattered. At the foot of the mountain, apricot, peach, pear, citrus, and jujube trees compete for beauty and fragrance, each with its unique characteristics, blending together in layers. With the changing seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter, the area becomes a series of colorful paintings. In early spring, all trees are green, and flowers are in full bloom. Peach and apricot blossoms resemble drops of cinnabar, while plum and pear blossoms are as white as snow. In early summer, the leaves are lush and the weather is refreshing. Every autumn, the mountains are painted with red leaves like fire, and below the mountains, there are abundant fruits with a fragrant aroma. In the depths of winter, the snow covers the forest sea, and the mountains are dressed in silver, with silver flowers on the jade trees, showing a variety of weather throughout the year. The park is open all year round from 08:30 to 17:30.
