The Osmanthus Park is named after the city flower of Suzhou, ‘osmanthus’. The flower shrubs in the park are mainly evergreen plants, with more than 260 varieties, including many rare and precious tree species. Especially known for its osmanthus tree species. The park is ranked first in China in terms of the richness and quantity of osmanthus varieties. So far, there are 62 osmanthus varieties recorded by osmanthus classification experts Xiang Qibai and Liu Yulian in China.


Among them, the Osmanthus Park has collected 50 varieties, which belong to two major categories: four-season osmanthus and autumn osmanthus, and four variety groups: four-season osmanthus, silver osmanthus, golden osmanthus, and orange osmanthus.
