A cruise along the Huangpu River is one of the ways to appreciate the bustling scenery of Shanghai’s urban landscape. As a century-old wharf in Shanghai, starting from Shiliupu Wharf, to the west of the Huangpu River lies the Bund’s collection of international architectural styles, while to the east is the modern Lujiazui financial district. As night falls, the scenery becomes even more beautiful with the brilliant lights on both banks.
Shiliupu Wharf is divided into three areas, featuring multiple cruise lines such as ‘Happy Captain,’ ‘Dragon Boat,’ ‘Crystal Princess,’ and ‘Essence Tour.’ The cruise ship departs from the historic Shiliupu Wharf, which has a history of over a hundred years, and sails downstream. The first sight is the Lujiazui financial district with its concentration of skyscrapers, including landmarks like the Oriental Pearl Tower, Jin Mao Tower, and the Shanghai World Financial Center.
Passing the majestic Yangpu Bridge and the century-old Waibaidu Bridge, you will arrive at the Bund’s collection of international architectural styles, which is classically elegant and features a variety of architectural styles, making for a very beautiful scenery.
