The teahouse is entirely of traditional brick and wood structure. The facade is decorated with wood carvings in Qing Dynasty style. There are two floors. It is still open to the public. In addition to tasting various grades of black tea, green tea and scented tea, it also offers various tea snacks such as smoked green beans and dried radish. There is also a ‘Qu Yuan Ban’ on the upper floor. Tea customers can listen to several pieces of Jiangnan silk and bamboo music, Xuanjuan, storytelling and ballad singing, opera, ditty and other tunes. Tasting tea by the window and looking at the scenery by the river. A hundred years of history and the charm of water towns are integrated in this small teahouse.
