Peninsula Pastoral, located in the Suzhou Yangcheng Lake Peninsula National Tourism Resort, is an idyllic slow-life experience destination within reach for urban dwellers. Over 50 varieties of vegetables and plants are grown across the 60-acre pastoral land, integrating vegetable gardens, vegetable terraces, camphor tree forests, and leisure lawns into a diverse botanical landscape. Through meticulous matching and plant design, ordinary vegetables have been transformed into edible ‘landscapes’, adding aesthetic and ecological value.
Here, visitors can carry baskets to experience the joy of agricultural harvesting and plant printing, as well as DIY fruit and vegetable bouquets, and even claim a ‘Peninsula Mini Field’ to fulfill their pastoral dreams. Additionally, guests can enter the pet paradise to interact with small animals, or stroll through the fields, where in spring there are golden rapeseed flowers, in summer there are full-eared wheat waves, and in autumn there is the light mist of the Miscanthus sinensis, all contributing to a beautiful natural canvas. Peninsula Pastoral is a vegetable plant exploration park full of fun, offering a chance to explore a healthy lifestyle and experience a pastoral shepherd’s slow life, allowing the soul to return to nature and enjoy the ‘desired life’ close at hand.
