Yushan City Wall is a section of the Changshu City Wall that runs along the eastern foot of Yushan Mountain, stretching from southwest to northeast for approximately 1400 meters. The city tower, Yushan Gate, is situated in the middle, with the southwest wall extending to the West City Pavilion and Fucheng Gate, and the northeast to Zhenhai Terrace. Walking atop the city wall, you can overlook the scenery of Changshu City.

Yushan City Wall was first constructed during the Wu De era of the Tang Dynasty, with a history of over 1380 years. Originally an earthen city, it was transformed into a brick wall between 1341 and 1368, and the city walls were reconstructed in 1553. The city wall has undergone several renovations throughout history, and what we see today is a modern restoration based on the Ming Dynasty city walls.

The scenic area is open all year round from 08:15 to 16:15, with specific business status subject to the daily opening conditions.
