The Suzhou Creek Landscape Corridor is a riverside green space formed by Shanghai in combination with the overall renovation of the Suzhou Creek. Some viewing footpaths and supporting facilities are set up in the green space according to local conditions, thus transforming the Suzhou Creek into a scenic spot for leisure and entertainment. Here, bricks in red, brown and white are paved into a 5 to 8-meter-wide riverside footpath. On the south side of the footpath, evergreen street trees are planted to separate pedestrians from the driveway. There are also rain shelters designed in the shape of leaves every few hundred meters. On the north side of the footpath by the Suzhou Creek, waist-high iron railings and flood control walls are respectively set up according to the height of the embankment. It is worth mentioning that the railings are designed in a silver wavy shape, and the landscape lights by the railings are also designed in the shape of magnolias. The concave and convex fluctuations just form benches where people can sit and rest, which is very unique. At the end of the footpath is a small tower. From a distance, it is full of a sense of technology. When light and shadow shine in from the tower’s windows, a special light and shadow effect is formed. It is a niche photo spot that young people pursue. Looking across the Suzhou Creek from here, it is also a lush scene. The scenery is very beautiful. The specific business hours and opening status are subject to the opening situation on the day.
