The Qingming Bridge Ancient Canal Scenic Area is located in the heart of Wuxi City, where ancient-style water town buildings and authentic old houses form the streets together. There are attractions to visit, as well as bars and restaurants. The night view is more beautiful than the day view; the houses with pink walls and black tiles are lit up, and strings of red lanterns are reflected in the canal, attracting countless photographers.
Sitting on a tour boat, from the Nanchan Temple pier to the Kuatang Bridge, you will see fashionable ancient-style buildings and the Yangchun Alley commercial area. From Kuatang Bridge to Qingming Bridge is the essence, known as the ‘Jiangnan water alley, the ultimate version of the canal’. When you see the archway of ‘Canal Ancient City’ on the right bank, it means you have entered the historical district transformed from old houses. Along the way, you can find many water-facing beauties and small terraces.

Passing the Dagong Bridge, on the right bank is the China Silk Industry Museum. After crossing Qingming Bridge, on the left bank is the Wuxi Kiln Group Ruins Museum. Further ahead to the Narcissus Taoist Temple, seeing the ‘Tang Tree Shade’ archway means the end of the district. It is recommended to take a boat to the Narcissus Taoist Temple and then walk back to the Nanchan Temple pier. Along the way, you can visit attractions such as the Narcissus Taoist Temple, the Canal Culture and Art Museum, the Kan Palace Fire Extinguishing Association, and the China Silk Industry Museum. If you are interested, you can also take a detour to Yangchun Alley.
